About Burgin

George Burgin is a composer, entrepreneur, and multi-instrumentalist whose life has long moved between Scripture and sound.

For more than three decades he served in pastoral ministry, immersing himself in the narrative arc of the Bible not merely as text, but as a living story. Music has always been his parallel language. Over the years he has written and recorded original works, studied the architecture of orchestration, and pursued composition with the same devotion he once gave to preaching.

The Bible Score emerges from that convergence.

Rather than retelling Scripture with images, the project seeks to give the mind’s eye a soundtrack, music that invites listeners to experience the drama, tension, beauty, and wonder of the biblical narrative.

As a follower of Christ, Burgin’s deepest desire is simple: that through music, hearts would encounter the grandeur, gravity, and grace of God’s story in a fresh and reverent way.

Every piece of music for The Bible Score is written, recorded, and produced by Burgin in his home studio. The production environment centers on Apple systems running Logic Pro, with instrument libraries from EastWest Sounds and IK Multimedia. Monitoring and mixing are handled through Bose and Yamaha studio equipment.

Performances blend sampled virtual instruments with live instrumentation, including Nord and Studiologic keyboards, Novation and Akai controllers and drum triggers, Fender and Seagull guitars, Gibson and Tacoma mandolins, Gold Tone and Bishline banjos, Bossa bass, Mesa Boogie and Aguilar amplifiers, and Shure microphones. Rhythmic and percussive elements combine sequenced programming with live triggering from MIDI controllers, allowing Burgin to sculpt the pulse and intensity of each musical movement.

Production Note:
Mastering and equalization processes are assisted by advanced audio technologies, including AI-based tools from LANDR Audio and iZotope, and are guided by Burgin’s artistic direction and final approval.
